Certification Courses
PACP™
PACP has become the industry standard for the proper assessment of pipelines and other structures. Using unique codes to identify conditions, PACP is a prerequisite for LACP™ and MACP™, NASSCO Certification programs for laterals and manholes, respectively.
ITCP™
NASSCO’s Instructor Training Certification Program (ITCP) prepares inspectors to properly assess the installation of trenchless technologies including cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) and manhole rehabilitation. The Program also covers other trenchless technologies used for effective pipe rehabilitation.
BSDI™
BSDI, which is heavily based on PACP, trains plumbers and small contractors to use unique condition codes and properly record findings while inspecting laterals from the private property line out to the main line. The course covers the general approach to an inspection, how to complete the BSDI inspection report, assessment codes, and associated requirements for a proper BSDI inspection. Drain Cleaning Certification Program™
NASSCO’s Drain Cleaning Certification Program is designed for professionals involved in cleaning building sewers and drains or laterals. It provides the methodology to standardize the cleaning process to ensure building sewers and drains are cleaned safely and thoroughly, while avoiding damage to underground infrastructure. For comprehensive cleaning and inspection knowledge, pair it with BSDI!
Non-Certification Courses
PACP™ for Asset Management
This NASSCO Course is for professionals who do not code on a day-to-day basis but need a basic understanding of PACP for the development of effective asset management plans. The 2-module online Course on utilizing condition grades and assessing risk is self-paced and takes approximately four hours to complete.
NASSCO’s Grouting Unified Safe Operating Practices Program (USOPP)
This course is a critical step to ensure the safe handling of chemical grout used in the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure. Successful completion of NASSCO’s Grouting Unified Safe Operating Practices Program (USOPP) Exam demonstrates that a student has a basic understanding of knowledge to help protect employees and the environment from potential hazards associated with the use of chemical grouts. The student will read and understand the USOPP Specification developed by NASSCO’s Infiltration Control Grouting Committee (ICGC) prior to taking an Exam.
NASSCO’s Safe Use and Handling of Styrene-Based Resins in CIPP
This course is a critical step to ensure the safe handling of styrene used in the rehabilitation of underground infrastructure using the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) process. Successful completion of NASSCO’s Safe Use and Handling of Styrene-Based Resins in CIPP Exam demonstrates that a student has a basic understanding of knowledge to help protect employees and the environment from potential hazards.
