The National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP) is the North American Standard for pipeline assessment. Developed under licence with the Water Research Center (WRc), PACP is the North American adaptation of the United Kingdom's TV inspection coding system. This program provides an understanding for structural, operational, construction and miscellaneous features of a pipe allowing the user to determine pipe condition for the purpose of I&I, pre acceptance, routine assessment, capital improvements, pre & post rehab survey or maintenance related programs, all collected in a standardised and consistent manner.
NASSCO has also developed the manhole assessment certification program (MACP) for coding manhole defects having incorporated ASCE manhole standards. Finally, service laterals are addressed in the LACP where fittings and access points that are unique to laterals are included, again maintaining the form and style of the PACP system.
PACP is a two day course and a prerequisite for the third day of MACP and LACP certifications. The course is set out in modules within a class environment, PowerPoint presentation and book reference, with an open book examination, multiple choice format. Each student will be expected to attain 85% pass mark to attain certification.
Course location will be at our AECOM Winnipeg office at 99 Commerce Drive, Winnipeg, R3P0Y7.
Class commences from 8am to 5pm with periodic rest breaks.
