Training & Recertification

Lateral Assessment & Certification Program

Current Version- 6.0 Released September 2010

The evolution of the Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) has lead NASSCO into a program for defect coding in Laterals. This program is the Lateral Assessment and Certification Program (LACP). While the training addresses many fittings and access points that are unique to laterals, the defect coding in LACP is very similar.

To view a list of upcoming classes, click on the PACP class schedule link on the right. PACP certification is a prerequisite, and LACP certification is valid for 3 years from the date of issuance. The training cost is $150 (LACP/MACP combo).
