Join us at the Semi-Annual Membership Meeting and Icebreaker Reception at WEFTEC in Chicago!

Schedule of NASSCO events on Mon., Oct. 20th at the Hilton Palmer House:

  • General Membership meeting- 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
  • Icebreaker Reception- 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

The reception is a great networking opportunity combined with hors d’oeuvres, drinks and good company. Plan to attend the reception with new potential members as your guests! One of your guests may receive a flat screen HDTV as well as participate in one of NASSCO’s trademark networking venues.

Prior to the reception, NASSCO it’s Semi-Annual membership meeting. This will be an opportunity to discuss the past year and future plans for the organization. All members are welcome to attend and participate.

NASSCO’s 2009 Annual Meeting & Golf Tournament
Palm Springs, CA – February 11–14, 2009


This year we will follow the same popular format as in 2008. All business matters will be handled on the first day while the second day will focus on more technical areas of interest. While you will have plenty of time to enjoy the warm California sunshine, the main benefit is to learn more about:

  • OSHA Findings and What They Mean To You
  • Implications of Styrene Task Force Report
  • Updates on ITCP and PACP Training
  • TAG-R
  • And more!

Also, plan to bring that special someone! We’ll entertain them with tours planned especially for them.

New NASSCO Guideline Explores Use and Handling of Styrenated Resins in CIPP

The CIPP Lining Committee, within NASSCO, has released a 10 page report on the use of Styrene in the CIPP process. The committee, chaired by Lynn Osborn of Insituform and made up of NASSCO members who are involved with CIPP lining include Contractors, Suppliers, Cities, and Engineers. The primary author of this very important study is Ed Kampbell of Rehabilitation Resources who is also Vice President of NASSCO.
